Build Your Mechanical Skills Into a Career
Sanco Equipment is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined PDI & Equipment Setup Technician to join our service team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and around equipment but may not yet have the experience of a full Equipment Technician. College and technical school students are encouraged to apply. We are willing to work with the right candidate's school schedule.
For students who are interested in building a long-term career with Sanco Equipment, tuition reimbursement may be available for eligible programs. This is an opportunity to earn money, gain hands-on experience, and get your education paid for while building a career as an Equipment Technician.
You'll be responsible for preparing new and used equipment for customers, completing pre-delivery inspections, installing attachments and accessories, and handling light mechanical repairs and maintenance.
If you have experience working on cars, trucks, powersports, farm equipment, construction equipment, small engines—or simply have strong mechanical ability—we'd like to talk to you.

- Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new equipment
- Check fluid levels, machine operation, safety systems, lights, controls, and overall condition

Prepare Used Equipment
- Assist with trade-in inspections
- Identify visible leaks, damage, wear, and maintenance needs
- Complete approved minor repairs and maintenance
What We're Looking For
You don't need to be a master technician. We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing things right.
Experience or education in any of the following is a plus, but not required:
- Diesel or heavy equipment technology
- Automotive or truck repair
- Construction or agricultural equipment
- Powersports
- Small engines
- Equipment maintenance
- Welding or fabrication
- Mechanical or technical programs
Currently enrolled college and technical school students are encouraged to apply. This can be a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing your education and potentially transition into a full-time Equipment Technician position after graduation.
A valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate equipment are required.
Why Sanco Equipment?
We want this to be more than just a job. For someone who wants to continue developing their mechanical skills, this position can provide a path into a full Equipment Technician role.
You'll work around late-model construction equipment, learn from experienced technicians, and gain hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
We offer:
- Monday–Friday work schedule
- Competitive pay
- Health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees
